Heading to Hong Kong
(S. Goebel)
This old train flows down the track, cigarettes waft from the cabin infront
Through tunnels of over mountains, this old train rambles on
Next to me lay a girl, her name was Wang Fang
People get off and on, a voice comes over the intercom
It says...
De da de da de da
Diggin' deeper and deeper, to places I didn't want to find
In my head it repeats, gotta to be someone be somewhere
My thoughts wander on, can I be original yet normal
My head grow heavy and dim, the lights they flicker by
De da de da de da
Through tunnels over mountains, I can see smoke in the valley
A land of extremes it crosses, 46 hours gone
I'm the only pale skin aboard, alone the next stop comes
The smell of noodles lingers, a voice comes over the intercom
It says
De da de da de da
